What Is an Image Color Picker?

An image color picker lets you sample colors directly from a photo, screenshot or design file. Instead of guessing a hex code, you click on the exact pixel you want and the tool reads the color value from the image data. This is essential for matching brand colors from a logo, extracting a palette from a photograph, or repainting an illustration.

Privacy First

Every image you upload to OmniColor is processed locally using the HTML5 Canvas API. The file never leaves your browser — there is no server, no upload, and no tracking. You can use this tool fully offline once the page loads.

How to Use

  1. Click the drop zone or drag an image onto it.
  2. The image is loaded onto a canvas.
  3. Click any pixel to see its HEX, RGB and HSL values.
  4. Scroll down to see the 10 most dominant colors extracted from the image.
  5. Click any extracted color to copy its HEX code.
