What Is Color Mixing?

Color mixing blends two colors in a specific ratio to produce a new color. On screens, mixing is done in RGB space: each channel is interpolated independently. Mixing 50% red (#FF0000) and 50% blue (#0000FF) gives purple (#800080).

How to Use the Color Mixer

  1. Enter two HEX colors.
  2. Drag the ratio slider to control how much of each color is used.
  3. The result swatch and codes update live.
  4. Click any step in the interpolation strip to copy its HEX value.
